November 26, 2006 – Crime #614

Crime Stoppers of Lewis County and the Centralia Police Department are seeking your assistance in solving a Burglary/Theft that occurred at Pizza Hut, 705 Harrison Ave in Centralia.

Sometime during the evening hours of October 26/27th, thieves broke into the Pizza Hut building which is being remodeled. Workers discovered the loss when they came to work in the morning. The thieves made off with several hand tools and tool belts belonging to construction workers. Total loss in this theft is over $750.

November 19, 2006 – Crime #613

Crime Stoppers of Lewis County and the Centralia Police Department are seeking your assistance in solving a Burglary/Theft which occurred in the 1500 block of Grand Ave in Centralia.

Sometime between 4:00 PM on October 28 and 3:00 PM on October 29th, suspect(s) cut a padlock off a fenced compound to make unlawful entry. The victim reported a theft of an aluminum trailer Washington license 7704PD, and a ‘DIG IT’ brand back hoe, green in color. Total loss in this theft is over $2500.

November 12, 2006 – Crime #612

Crime Stoppers of Lewis County and the Centralia Police Department are seeking your assistance in solving a series of Burglaries which occurred at 1100 block of N. Tower in Centralia. The Burglaries occurred between October 3, 2006 and October 16, 2006. Person(s) entered the storage yard on at least two occasions and removed scrap wire and an electrical transformer from the yard. Officers are seeking information about any unusual activity observed around that storage yard during those dates and times.

November 5, 2006 – Crime #611

Crime Stoppers of Lewis County and the law enforcement agencies in Lewis County are seeking the public’s assistance for the person(s) responsible for stealing copper wire, aluminum and/or material’s that can be recycled for profit. Over the past two years law enforcement has been seeing a rise of theft’s of recyclable metal materials. The suspected thieves are stealing materials from construction sites, government property, businesses, and to the aluminum irrigation pipes from a farmer’s field. The suspects involved in this criminal activity tend to cut the material into scraps prior to taking the material to be recycled. The money obtained from the trafficking of stolen property is often used to purchase METHAMPHETAMINE. Your local law enforcement is requesting you to be suspicious of people in possession of these materials and/or burning wires to obtain the raw metals. The total loss to victims’ and taxpayers are several thousands of dollars and the money obtained fuels the epidemic of methamphetamine in our communities.
