Crime Stoppers of Lewis County and the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office are seeking your assistance in a theft investigation. On October 17, 2008 between 10:30 a.m. and 6:45 p.m., a victim’s vehicle was forcibly broken into in the gravel parking lot of the Mandy Road boat launch in Toledo. A fisherman returned to his vehicle to discover several expensive items were stolen, including an Advantage Microprocessor prosthetic leg, a Mauch Endolight hydraulic for the prosthetic leg, a Superchip programmer for the diesel truck, green Alpine binoculars, and about 100 CD’s. The value of the items stolen is estimated at $33,000.
