November 30, 2008 – Crime #719

Crime Stoppers of Lewis County and the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office are seeking your assistance in solving a burglary and theft investigation. On 11/13/08, Lewis County deputies took a report of three go-carts that were stolen from the 1200 block of Centralia Avenue in Centralia. The business owner reported a QRC caged go-cart, blue and white in color, with a large blue fin and #22 on top; a QRC caged go-cart, white and orange in color, with #13 on top; and a Buller speedway go-cart with a wedged front end and unique clutch were stolen. The total value is $12,500.

November 23, 2008 – Crime #718

Crime Stoppers of Lewis County and the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office are seeking your assistance in a theft investigation. Sometime between 11/14/08 and 11/17/08, equipment owned by the Riverside Fire Authority was stolen from the SWW Fairgrounds. The Riverside Fire Authority was storing a large diamond plate tool box, containing a chainsaw, two fire hose nozzles, one fire hose adapter, and miscellaneous tools. The suspects made entry through a chain link fence to steal the items valued over $1500.

The suspect was driving a red or maroon Ford Taurus. The license on the suspect vehicle is similar to 878VKT.

Crime Stoppers of Lewis County and the Chehalis Police Department are seeking your assistance in solving a theft from the Lewis County Mall located at 151 NE Hampe Way, Chehalis. Between the dates of 10-08-08 and 10-12-08 suspect(s) stole an antique radiator cap from a 1937 fire truck which was on display. The cap was silver in color and has an emblem rising from it with a red fire department cross in the center circle. The radiator cap is valued in excess of $1,000.

Crime Stoppers of Lewis County and the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office are seeking your assistance in a burglary investigation. On October 17, 2008 between 7:00 a.m. and 3:45 p.m., burglar(s) made forcible entry into a residence in the 500 block of State Route 506, Toledo. The burglar(s) stole a Leopold laser range finder, model RX1244; a Black Hills hunting pack; Leopold binoculars, 10×42; five hunting knives; a Washington Mutual ATM card; $150 in miscellaneous change; a Panasonic portable DVD player; and two Olympus digital cameras. The loss is estimated to be over $2000.
