April 26, 2009 – Crime #740

Crime Stoppers of Lewis County and the Winlock Police Department are seeking your assistance in recovering a stolen Fender Stratocaster guitar, serial number 18351, black and copper in color. On February 20, 2007 a homeowner in the 600 block of Byham Road reported a residential burglary. The victim discovered his Fender Stratocaster guitar was stolen and nothing else was disturbed. The guitar is a family heirloom and valued at about $20,000 dollars.

Crime Stoppers of Lewis County and the Centralia Police Department are seeking your assistance in a burglary at Kluh Jewelers on South Gold, Centralia. On the morning of 3/27/09, Centralia Police responded to an alarm at 1702 S. Gold to find the front door smashed open. The suspects entered the store, smashed several glass jewelry cases, and stole a large amount of yellow and white gold chains and bracelets.

Crime Stoppers of Lewis County and the Centralia Police Department are seeking your assistance in malicious mischief to automatic teller machines (ATMs). On March 15, 2009 in the morning hours Centralia patrols took multiple reports of our local ATMs being vandalized. The ATM located at Venture Bank on South Gold St. had damage to the screen and also the ATM was spray painted with black paint. The same thing occurred at the Anchor Savings Bank in the 600 block of South Tower Ave. Centralia Police Departments believe the suspects are causing damage to the ATMs to hide their identity while they attempt to use victims’ debit cards and/or credit cards in an identity theft scheme.

April 5, 2009 – Crime #737

Crime Stoppers of Lewis County and the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office are seeking your assistance in a burglary investigation. A citizen reported to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office that burglars broke into his storage unit in the 200 block of Mallard Lane, Toledo. Deputies investigated the burglary to the storage unit discovering the burglars had ransacked the building and had stolen multiple items. The items were described as a Suzuki ATV 2002 Eiger 4×4, a Savage 12 gauge pump shotgun, a Winchester .25-35 rifle model 64 lever action with electrical tape on the stock, a Ruger 10/22 rifle with a ten round magazine, and a Husqvarna chainsaw, model 350 with a 20″ bar. The theft and damages from this crime are estimated over $6300 dollars.
