The burglar(s) gained entry into the residence and stole three laptop computers, a wedding ring and other miscellaneous pieces of jewelry.  

The loss is estimated over $5,000 dollars.

The jewelry was described to the deputy as unique pieces including a diamond pendent, ruby ring, earrings, and a tourmaline ring, earrings, and pendant set.

The theft of the jewelry is valued at $70,000 dollars.

Crime Stoppers of Lewis County and Lewis County Sheriff’s Office are seeking your assistance in a theft investigation. Sometime between 6:00 p.m. on 10/11/11 and 7:00 a.m. on 10/12/11 a firearm was stolen out of a pickup in the 1200 block of Highway 603. Four Chrysler 300 rims were also stolen from the yard. The firearm is described as a Thompson Center 300 Winchester Magnum with synthetic stock and stainless steel fluted barrel. It was equipped with a Luepold VX III 3×9 scope.

The theft of the rifle and rims is valued at $1300 dollars.
