Crime Stoppers of Lewis County and the Chehalis Police Department are seeking your assistance in an arson investigation. On July 21, 2010 at approximately 1410 hours the Chehalis Fire Department received a fire call of a fully involved structure fire at 648 NW Folsom Ave, Chehalis. During a joint investigation with the Chehalis Fire Department and the Chehalis Police Department it was determined the fire appeared to be purposefully set. There were no services to the residence and the residence was vacant at the time.

The value is estimated over $144,800 dollars.

Crime Stoppers of Lewis County and the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office are seeking your assistance in a suspicious fire investigation located in the 100 block of Burnett Road, Winlock. On September 4, 2009 at about 10:00 p.m. a homeowner reported hearing a vehicle with a loud muffler “burn” out of his driveway across the street from his home. The homeowner looked outside and discovered his 1987 fifth wheel was fully engulfed in flames. The fire caused several thousand dollars worth of damages.

On August 22, 2009 at about 0630 hours Lewis County Deputies investigated a 2000 Acura Integra, silver in color, which was reported stolen from Thurston County. The smoldering stolen vehicle was located in the 100 block of Ramsaur Road, Centralia. The loss is estimated over $6,000.

Crime Stoppers of Lewis County is seeking your information to solve several suspicious fires in Lewis County. A joint investigation with the Riverside Fire Authority, Centralia Police Department, and the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office have identified nine unexplained fires that have several similarities. A suspicious vehicle has been seen in the area during the time of the fires.

The vehicle has been described as a white two wheel drive Ford Ranger extended cab. This vehicle was seen leaving several of the fire scenes.

Crime Stoppers of Lewis County and the Centralia Police Department are seeking your assistance in a suspicious fire at Paradise Video, 1011 South Gold in Centralia. On the morning of 1/29/09, Centralia Police took a report of a suspicious fire at the Paradise Video on South Gold in Centralia.

At about 5:30 a.m. a Centralia officer noticed an unusual amount of smoke coming from the back of the business. Upon investigation he noticed an attached storage shed on the back of the building was ablaze. The fire department was called to the scene and the fire was put out before the main building was consumed. It was later determined that a deliberate act started the fire.
