On June 26, 2010 at about 11:30 a.m. a homeowner in the 700 block of Leudinghaus Rd., Chehalis discovered his shop had been burglarized. The victim suffered the loss of a John Deere riding lawnmower, a Suzuki outboard six horsepower four stroke motor, one push mower, and a Stihl weedeater. The total value is estimated over $3500 dollars.

Crime Stoppers of Lewis County and the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office are seeking your assistance in a residential burglary investigation. On June 25, 2010 at about 2:00 p.m. Lewis County deputies investigated a burglary in the 400 block of W. Reynolds Ave., Centralia. Homeowners returned to their residence to discover a burglary had occurred in the garage. Items stolen were a red Mongoose bicycle, a purple Nishiki bicycle, a purple Trek bicycle, a Stihl chainsaw model 021, a Minn Kota trolling motor, and a Delta sander. The total loss is estimated over $1275 dollars.

July 4, 2010 – Crime #802

On 06-08-10 Kmart reported unknown person(s) broke into a portable storage container behind the store. Seventeen aluminum and rubber “Flood Logs” were stolen out of the container. The logs are used to seal water out of the building in the event of a flood. The logs weighed over 3,000 pounds and are valued at $50,000. They discovered the theft on the 8th but do not know how long they have been missing.

Crime Stoppers of Lewis County and the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office are seeking your assistance in a residential burglary investigation. On May 17, 2010 at about 2:00 p.m. a homeowner in the 100 block of River Heights Rd, Centralia discovered his residence had been ransacked. Burglars broke into the residence stealing multiple items including a pair of pink Juicy Couture eyeglasses with case, a Canon PowerShot digital camera, Canon Elph digital camera, smoky quartz drop earrings, blue topaz earrings, diamond stud earrings, aquamarine stud earrings, 18 karat gold pendent, and multiple other items and jewelry.  The loss is estimated over $4300 dollars.

Between the dates of May 17th and May 18th a residence in the 200 block of Burnt Ridge Rd, Onalaska was burglarized. The victim discovered two shotguns, a muzzleloader, a welder/generator, and a compound bow were stolen from the shop.

Crime Stoppers of Lewis County and the Chehalis Police Department are seeking your assistance in solving a burglary.  On 05/05/10 at about 3:00 a.m. the Staples Store located at 1740 N. National Avenue reported a burglary to Chehalis Police.  Suspect(s) made forced entry to steal a number of Dell and Toshiba brand laptops that were on display. 

The total loss from the theft of the laptops is over $3,500.

Crime Stoppers of Lewis County and the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office are seeking your assistance in a residential burglary investigation that occurred in the 2300 block of Blair Road, Centralia. On April 28, 2010 a homeowner reported a burglary where several items were stolen. The items consist of the following:

     -     Titan FIE pistol

     -     Remington 7600 rifle

     -     Smith and Wesson revolver

     -     Remington Wingmaster shotgun

     -     Jennings rifle

     -     Remington 572 rifle

     -     Harrington shotgun

     -     Wind River binoculars

     -     Leupold Vari-X scope

     -     Smith and Wesson pistol

Other firearms and miscellaneous items were stolen from the residence. The loss is estimated over $5500 dollars. Crime Stoppers of Lewis County and the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office are seeking your assistance in a residential burglary. On March 25, 2010 a homeowner in the 100 block of Wiatrak Road discovered his residence and shop had been burglarized. The homeowner reported to the Lewis County deputies the following had been stolen:

-          Craftsman air compressor

-          18 volt cordless drill, saw and light

-          Drop cloths

-          5 gallons of Behr paint

-          Miscellaneous tools including drills, hammers, and saws

-          5 gallons of antique white Glidden paint

-          White Kenmore freezer with approximately 200 lbs of beef, fish, and pork

-          Stihl 066 chainsaw with 36 inch bar

-          Miscellaneous hand tools

The loss is estimated over $3500 dollars.
