Crime Stoppers of Lewis County and The Lewis County Sheriff’s Office are seeking your assistance in a vehicle theft incident thatoccurred between 03/10/09 at 10:00 p.m. and 03/11/09 at 7:20 a.m. from the victim’s residence in the 800 block of Hwy 603 in Chehalis. The victim advised his Port Blakely Tree Farm company truck was stolen, which is described as a 2007 forest green Ford F-150, (WA, B30378E), with a black plastic tool box. Also in the vehicle were Port Blakely company items and tools, such as a Trimble Pro XRS backpack GPS unit, serial number 0224011614, valued at $15,000, along with a large amount of GPS mapping tools (tri-pods, levels, and assorted items). The truck also contained a Pro Stihl 36” chainsaw (no serial number or markings). The total value is estimated over $70,000.

He is a suspect in a robbery at the 12th St. Market in Chehalis on 03/01/09 at 7:42 PM. The suspect is a white male, 18-21 years old, with short brown hair. He was wearing a brown t-shirt and blue jeans. The suspect ran north from the business and was seen getting into a silver Dodge Neon or similar vehicle.

Crime Stoppers of Lewis County and the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office are seeking your assistance in identifying two thieves who stole a portable saw mill, Woodmiser brand Model LT30HD, bright orange in color. The victim reported his portable saw mill was stolen on February 23, 2009 at about 5:00 p.m. Witnesses saw two white males approximately 40 years of age driving a Toyota four wheel drive truck with a blue cab and a white bed. Witnesses said the two suspects hooked the portable saw mill on the back of the truck and drove off from a private driveway on State Route 7 in Morton. The value of the saw mill is estimated over $5000 dollars.

Crime Stoppers of Lewis County and the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office are seeking your assistance in a theft from a construction site. On 01/20/09 at about 0830 hours employees from Scarsella Brothers discovered they were the victims of a theft that occurred overnight. The employees stored a cure box on top of the new Labree Road overpass. The cure box looks like a white chest freezer with grey and black 4″ lettering “IGUIS.” The cure box is used to keep cement pour cylinder samples at 70 degrees for the Washington State Department of Transportation. The theft is estimated over $1500.

Crime Stoppers of Lewis County and the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office are seeking your assistance in a burglary investigation.  On 01/17/09, a homeowner in the 500 block of Antrim Road reported a residential burglary.  The residence was ransacked and several items were stolen.  The victim reported a Medallion Berenger amplifier, an electric guitar and amplifier, a Harmony acoustic guitar, a gold necklace with a diamond cross pendant, Black Hills Gold cross, a men’s gold ring, two Black Hills Gold rings, and two silver earrings.  The value is estimated at over $2000.

Crime Stoppers of Lewis County and the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office are seeking your assistance in a vehicle prowl and theft that occurred in the 3400 block of Harrison Avenue, Centralia.  On 01/01/09 at around 0930 hours, a homeowner heard noises outside of his residence.  The homeowner checked outside and discovered his vehicle had been broken into and his property had been stolen.  The victim reported two Craftsman socket sets, miscellaneous hand tools, a trailer hitch, a carburetor, and personal paperwork were stolen.  The estimated total loss is $500.

Crime Stoppers of Lewis County and the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office are seeking your assistance in a multiple vehicle prowl and burglary investigation.  During the evening hours of 01-02-09 and the early morning hours of 01/03/09, the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office investigated five vehicle prowls and a burglary occurring in the area of Harrison Avenue, Ives Road, Sandra Avenue, and Horsley Avenue in Centralia.  The suspect(s) entered into unlocked vehicles and removed a .22 caliber Smith & Wesson pistol, a Motorola RAZR cell phone, a craftsman pressure washer, flashlights, cash, and other personal items.  During the burglary a 1986 Chevy pick-up was taken, but later recovered.  Total loss is estimated at $2000.

Crime Stoppers of Lewis County and the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office are seeking your assistance in a burglary investigation. On 11/21/08, a homeowner discovered his vacation cabin was broken into in the 200 block of Paradise Drive, Ashford. Suspects ransacked the cabin and stole a yellow in color Karcher pressure washer, a DeWalt drill with cord, a weed-wacker, and miscellaneous hand tools. Besides stealing the items, the suspects damaged a sliding glass door and several doors inside the residence. The total loss and property damage is estimated at $1500.
