Crime Stoppers of Lewis County and the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office are seeking your assistance in a vehicle prowl and theft investigation. On 05/04/11 at approximately 4:00 p.m. a victim reported his trailer had been broken into at the Lions Club Campground in Mineral.

The victim reported two Stihl chainsaws were stolen, a model MS440 Magnum with 28” bar/dual port muffler and a model 029 Super Farm Boss with 20” bar. A 2004 13’ Seawing Runabout boat was also stolen. The boat has been recovered, but the 15 horse Mariner outboard motor is still missing.

The value of the theft is estimated over $3,600 dollars.

Crime Stoppers of Lewis County and the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office are seeking your assistance in a spree of vehicle prowls that occurred in the 600 block of Green Mountain Rd, Mossyrock. On August 30, 2010 in the evening hours victims reported to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office their recreational vehicles had been broken into and ransacked. A total of one motorhome and two camper trailers were broken into and items were stolen. The items consisted of Bushnell binoculars, DVDs, CDs, diesel fuel, a Crossman BB rifle, TV, PlayStation and games, Minn Kota trolling motor. Besides the items stolen the recreational vehicle doors were damaged. The loss is estimated over $4500 dollars.

Crime Stoppers of Lewis County and the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office are seeking your assistance in a theft of a firearm and a vehicle prowl. On July 30, 2010 between 5:30 and 9:30 p.m. prowlers broke into a vehicle at the park near the end of Pleasant Valley Rd in Mineral. A citizen returned to his vehicle after swimming and discovered his window was broken and a Hi-Point .45 caliber semiautomatic with case, cleaning kit, and three magazines were stolen along with two designer pairs of sunglasses, a wallet with debit cards, and his driver’s license.

The value of this theft is estimated over $1300 dollars.

On July 5, 2010 a victim in the 1300 block of State Route 508, Onalaska returned to his utility truck and noticed he had multiple items stolen from it. The victim reported the following items were stolen:

      -Bosch chop saw

      -Senco screw gun

      -Skil worm drive saw

      -Ridgid battery powered toolkit containing a hammer drill, drill, and skill saw

The total value of this theft is $1120 dollars.

On May 21, 2010 in the morning hours the victim discovered at a construction site in 300 block of Flynn Rd, Mossyrock a trailer used to store tools was broken into and items were stolen. The victim reported various tools such as drills, nail guns, a generator, batteries, battery chargers, staples, grinders, Sawzalls, and skill saws were stolen. The loss is estimated over $9500 dollars.

On December 5th, 2009 a vehicle prowl was reported to the Sheriff’s Office.  The theft, which is estimated over $1,000 dollars, occurred at milepost 103 on Highway 12.  The victim reported the following items were stolen:

          – 4 garbage bags of men’s clothing

          – Blue Talon salmon fishing pole with a blue Rhino reel

          – Alpine single CD player with a detachable face

          – 2 Dual brand door speakers

          – Punch 12″ subwoofer

          – 2 Dual 6″x9″ rear speakers

          – Xbox 360 with controllers
